In Benin I visited one nature reserve, the Parc National de la Pendjari. I saw various birds, antelopes, and elephants. In Ganvie and on the south shore I saw some birds, that was it as far as nature was concerned.

The Parc National de la Pendjari is part of the W-Arly-Pendjari Complex, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
