Goddess of Water and Fertility (see Egyptian Mythology). She was shown as a woman with a lion's head, similar to Sekhmet, but with the Hedjet, the White Crown, or the Pshent, the Double Crown. She was the wife of Shu, the mother of Geb and Nut, and the daughter of Atum.
